Job Description

MAINTENANCE OFFICE (1)

i) OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Management and control of maintenance works in the college.

ii) Qualifications

  • Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Craft Certificate / Advanced Certificate / Diploma in Plumbing and Electrical Engineering field
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience in electrical and plumbing work (preferable)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid EIZ professional practicing certificate

iii) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide maintenance and logistical support related to maintenance works.
  • Facilitate all maintenance works and repairs in the college, including institutional and staff houses.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair of all electrical, plumbing, and building works in the college and staff houses.
  • Plan and coordinate all activities related to the maintenance and repair of college infrastructure, including institutional staff houses.
  • Supervise all maintenance staff and general workers.
