Job Description

Role Overview

A loader operator is responsible for operating and driving multi-wheeled heavy vehicles to transport goods and services from the distribution centers to various locations. Loader operators must have excellent driving skills and a clean driving record to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform other duties in the loading area (loader, haul truck)
  • Operation of off-highway equipment within the facility
  • Other duties may include the operation of off-road mobile equipment such as shipping loaders, pit loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, crane
  • Travel to other facilities may be required
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (equipment operation/repair,) Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors
  • Ability to perform other duties in the loading area (950G,924G and 920Excavator, backhoe, forklift)
  • Loading materials.

Preferred candidate qualifications & experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Certificate in Loader operator/excavator operator
  • Operating Permit.
  • Operating heavy equipment
