Limestone Resources Limited seeks to employ suitably qualified, experienced and result-oriented individuals to fill the below listed vacancies.
STANDARDS ADMINISTRATOR x 1
Reports to: Head of Sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Grade twelve (12) school certificate.
- Minimum Diploma in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry.
- Formal training/certificate in theory and practice of ISO 9001, ISO 22000.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Experience working with standards ISO 22000.
- Formal training in Internal Auditing an added advantage.
- Computer literate.
- Minimum of two (3) years’ work experience in the related job.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Contributing to system review/update of documentation. (C)
- Supports Internal Audit programs for ongoing assessments and generation of non-conforming reports. (I)
- Facilitation of departmental reviews. (I)
- Supports HACCP exercise and coordinate risk identification. (C)
ARTISAN ELECTRICIAN x 2
Reports to: Electrical Foreman
Qualifications:
- Grade twelve (12) school certificate.
- Craft or Advanced Technician Certificate in electrical or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in the related job.
- A member of EIZ.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Installs Electrical equipment in compliance with the standard code of Electrical practice.
- Receives Pre-shifts instructions and daily work schedules from the foreman (works orders and Defects Dockets) in order to carry out operations on the equipment.
- Examines breakdowns and determines faults and best methods of repairs. This is done by using Electrical diagrams and other relevant operating manuals.
- Carries out Inspections and servicing of Electrical equipment and determines conditions of Electrical equipment and make corrective actions.
- Carries out Trouble Shooting on Electrical Equipment in order to determine cause of malfunctioning and rectify the faulty.
- Gives reports on progress of assigned jobs to the supervisor and reports same in the logbook for communication purposes.
ARTISAN INSTRUMENTATION x 1
Reports to: Instrumentation Foreman
Qualifications:
- Grade twelve (12) school certificate.
- Technician /Artisan – Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunication.
- Minimum of two (3) years’ work experience in the related job.
- A member of EIZ.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Receives daily schedules from Foreman in the form of defect dockets, PM checklist and pre-shift work instruction.
- Carries out root cause analysis and determines the best way of rectifying defects/faults.
- Carries out calibrations, verifications and routine preventive maintenance on all instruments that require calibrating.
- Installs and commissions instruments according to set standards by manufacturers in order to ensure strict adherence to prescribed standards and guidelines.
- Reports to foreman all work done and records in the shift logbook. Also notifies operating staff at end of each shift.
- Carries out shutdown jobs as scheduled by the planning office.
INSTRUMENTATION FOREMAN x 1
Reports to: Plant Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer
Qualifications:
- Grade twelve (12) school certificate.
- Diploma or Technician/certificate in Industrial Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Minimum of two (3) years’ work experience in the related job.
- A member of EIZ.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensures effective and efficient maintenance of all measuring equipment for maximum availability through properly coordinated preventive maintenance.
- Ensures that measuring Instruments are serviced and repaired effectively to sustain their availability.
- Troubleshoots causes of failure using high level of physical skills and technical knowledge with right number of spares required to effect repairs to reduce down times.
- Delegates duties to Artisans through practical skills, instructions, guidance and records all work done for onward attention.
- Ensures that planned preventive maintenance procedures/work instructions are adhered to and work is completed within prescribed target times.
- Submits completed and endorsed checklists to the planner at every end of shift for continual MMS.
- Enforces mining regulations, domestic rules, and environmental regulations.
