Job Description

Location: Chalala, Lusaka

About Us:
We are a new dynamic and customer-focused dispensary and cosmetics store, dedicated to providing top-notch service and products to our community. Acacia Innovations is looking for a passionate and qualified pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis.

1) Pharmacist (Flexible working hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide expert advice on cosmetics and skincare products
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist with sales and marketing
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Assist to manage cash transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy
  • Valid practicing license from HPCZ
  • Only Pharmacists with full licenses should apply. Their license should be active for use, and will be part of the monthly pay
  • Strong passion for dispensary and cosmetics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 2 year experience is a must

Compensation:

  • Payment based on license, number of hours worked, and output

2) Pharmacy Technologist/Technician (Re-advertisement)

Core Duties:

  • Assist to accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, ensuring all details are correct
  • Communicate effectively with patients and clients, answer their questions
  • Measure, mix, and label medications correctly
  • Ensure full compliance of regulatory requirements in line with ZAMRA
  • Keep up-to-date patient records and medication histories
  • Process billing and keep an accurate financial record

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
  • Valid practicing license from HPCZ and other relevant authorities
  • Strong passion for dispensary and cosmetics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferably someone who resides near or around Chalala, Lusaka
  • Minimum of 2-year experience is a must

Compensation:

  • Payment based on number of hours worked and output, remuneration may be between ZMW 2,000 and ZMW 3,000 per month
