Treating patients according to standard treatment guidelines. Conducting procedures during shift e.g. suturing. Giving health education to patients and caregivers. Delivery of clients in the maternity ward. Child health Immunization. Male circumcision. Compressive abortion care and post abortion care Facility adolescent focal point person. Facility TB focal point person. Initiating of HIV-positive clients on antiretroviral therapy and PREP/PEP clients on care. Daily reviewing of clients in the wards. Liaise with the clinical care officer and medical officer on difficult cases.
Oriented all facility-level staff to use Smartcare as a patient management and data management. Assisted in generating, reviewing and submitting the facility transport database (TDB). Engaged with service providers at the facility in making sure all paper-based smartcare forms are comprehensively and properly filled for data entry. Worked with the information officer to ensure the smartcare software is up to date, fully functional, and upgrade when requested. Facilitated the identification of clients due for viral load as they come for pharmacy refills. Entered clients in ELMIS and dispensing from that system. Conducted data collection and consolidation including monthly and quarterly reporting. Data entry in the district health information system (dhis2) and extracting data for analysis. Monitored backlog within the facility and carried out necessary action to clear the backlog. Conducted and participated in data quality audits, supported the facility in conducting data review meetings and undertook inventory management.
