Work & Experience
As a Field Sales Representative at Smollan Company's Triple B division with Stanbic Bank, from March 2021 to February 2023, I excelled in promoting Mobi wire devices (POS) to grocery shop owners, achieving recognition as the best-performing employee. My role encompassed sales, customer relationship management, communication, and business development. I consistently met and exceeded targets, maintained customer satisfaction, communicated effectively with management through detailed reporting, and played a pivotal role in expanding revenue streams through float loans. Additionally, I successfully managed risk by recovering money from loan defaulters. Through this experience, I refined my sales, negotiation, customer service, time management, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, laying a solid foundation for future success.
During my tenure as the General Trade Merchandiser (Team Lead) for the Coca-Cola Activation Project at Smollan from February 2023 to August 2023, I played a pivotal role in ensuring optimal product visibility and sales performance across various stores, including Hungry Lion, Hotels, Debonair Pizza, Filling stations, and Minimarts. My responsibilities include, assisting customers with product orders, optimizing distribution to minimize stock shortages, and executing trade promotions effectively. I closely monitored and reported on Coca-Cola product performance, incorporating customer feedback and sales data to drive strategic decisions. Conducting market analysis enhanced my understanding of consumer trends and competition, while implementing new planograms optimized product placement and visibility. This experience equipped me with valuable skills in customer service, inventory management, promotion execution, market analysis, and strategic planning, which I will continue to leverage in future endeavors.
As a Platform Support Assistant at Bolabet Company Limited Zambia from August 2023 to January 2024, I played a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by managing cross-departmental communication, coordinating with key stakeholders such as Dispatch, Finance, IT, and Customer Care. I adeptly engaged with network providers like Airtel and MTN to swiftly resolve outages, guaranteeing uninterrupted service.
