Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the company’s overall financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll tax filings.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Liaise with tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Utilize accounting software for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ZICA full second level)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zero.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word
