Job Description

Job Overview:
Social Food and Bar Restaurant is looking for a dynamic, customer-focused, and highly organized Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff supervision and scheduling
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring staff
Maintain health, hygiene, and safety regulations within the restaurant
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues efficiently
Support the Restaurant Manager in financial operations, including budgeting and cost control
Drive initiatives to improve restaurant performance and meet business goals

Requirements:

Proven experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management

Must have

Qualifications:

Education:

A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications in food safety, hygiene, or customer service are an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.
Proven track record in customer service and team management within a high-volume restaurant or food service environment.
