Job Description

Our client, a Global Agricultural company, is seeking an Assistant Seed Production Administrator to join their team. The Assistant Seed Production Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and setting up all Production Planning Master Data (BOM, Recipe, Resource & Production Versions) correctly in readiness for various foundation seed production stages. He/she will also create, distribute and control foundation seed process orders while managing and controlling the filing of related documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the correct treatment codes and COGP are captured.
  • Capture all the components used to make the final product.
  • COGP to be captured correctly through conducting mass balancing.
  • Capture all the components used to make the final product & COGP to be captured correctly.
  • Effectively create and close grower processing orders to ensure minimal handling and prolonged processing periods.
  • Differentiate Batches at different Processing stages.
  • Help improve accuracy in product costing and inventory availability by ensuring real time production order execution for the materials to be produced.
  • Perform Goods Issue on the production process order of goods issued for production.
  • Conduct a mass balancing on the production order after receiving the production handover documents from the seed technicians ensuring all COGP are captured.
  • Conduct confirmation of process orders in readiness for closure.
  • Share a full season processing SAP Report for process orders status.
  • Actively participate in the site safety program by reporting observations and near misses.
  • Filling of all relevant processing documents.
  • Assisting with ISO system and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments concerning costing and inventory control related to the process orders.
  • Utilize company resources in an efficient manner to control cost.
  • Comply with goals (DPR) set for quality, reliability, cost, and people.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must have a Degree/Diploma in any Administration related studies or Agriculture.
  • Should understand the seed processing processes.
  • Must be Computer Literate.
  • Should have knowledge of SAP.
  • Must be accountable.
  • Should be able to create value with the customer in mind.
