BRANCH HEAD – EXTERNAL ADVERT
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is:
- To provide operational support to the branch which includes coordination and supervision of branch personnel to ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
- To ensure the efficiency of services to all key Stakeholders and Clients
- To be responsible for the implementation of the processes, general administration and of the branch operations.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Ensure the branch is always in an operational state so as to efficiently and effectively serve clients.
- Research and conduct market surveys to recommend on developments of lending policies
- Responsible for the driving of sales through the In-branch and Mobile Operations and meeting set targets.
- Identify and build relevant and sustainable relationships that will contribute to the business.
- Ensure the delivery of excellent Customer service to all clients by all members of staff in the branch.
- Loan processing – To ensure that the Loan issuance procedure and workflows are adhered to at all times.
- Security – Responsible for ensuring that the branches are operating in a secure environment (Includes Security personnel to always be present and security systems to be well functional).
- Administration – To ensure that the outlook of branches is maintained to acceptable standards and always reflects the company’s brand image in liaison with Administration department.
- To support, mentor and develop staff.
- Ensuring employees in the branch are trained to be competent in all areas of their job.
- Ensuring dual control is observed at all times
- Cost management.
- Ensure the necessary documentation is attached to the loan contracts.
- Ensure loan amounts are processed within the approved limits set by the Credit Unit.
- Ensure that the branch is well equipped.
- Ensure all branch assets are well maintained and are of good working condition.
- To manage and attend to loan statement requests and early settlements.
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Full grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor of Accountancy/Bachelor of Arts/or any other Business discipline
OTHER SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the financial sector
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to deal with people of all levels - A team player with good initiatives and assertiveness
Energetic and Enthusiastic - A self-motivator who is keen on upgrading and improving personal knowledge & skills to meet evolving job requirements
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
