Position Overview
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Chingola branch.
- This role involves overseeing branch operations, driving business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Branch Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies.
- Manage financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and profitability.
- Implement and maintain operational processes that enhance service delivery.
- Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the branch’s customer base and loan portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities within the local market.
- Build and maintain relationships with individual and SME clients to drive business growth.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the branch team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Set clear targets and monitor staff performance against goals.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment.
- Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance and implement strategies to minimize risks.
- Address operational and financial risks in a timely and effective manner.
- Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote a customer-first culture within the branch team.
- Gather client feedback to improve products and services.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure all branch activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of branch operations.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in microfinance, credit management, or banking.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage branch operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
