Job Description
Our client, a manufacturer of video surveillance equipment is looking to hire a talented Channel Marketing Manager who will lead the development and execution of the sales strategy for the Traditional and Emerging Markets. The successful candidate will provide leadership for new and existing channels, drive profitability and craft engaging and successful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set marketing direction and execute marketing initiatives in support of the plumbing products’ categories.
- Create and execute marketing programs that increase revenue for plumbing channels.
- Responsible for the development and management of sizeable marketing communication budget plus channel budget.
- Develop channel strategy, channel service support.
- Supervise and inspect the channel strategy implementation, and according to the need for strategic adjustment.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends.
- Provide sales and technical support resources, products, etc.
- Timely communication with customers, feedback market information, and put forward opinions and suggestions.
- Joint operations with channels for customers, to promote product sales.
- Keep a variety of ways of communication with customers and maintain the regional important customers.
- Implement sales according to the marketing plan.
- Actively look for new channel cooperation targets, and carry on the qualification and analysis.
- Develop channels to communicate with customers, making cooperation plan.
- Convey the company’s products to the customer information, sales policy.
- Actively strive for the customer order, achieve sales target.
- Participation in the agent business negotiations.
- Plan and brand promotion activities to improve the company’s brand influence.
Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Network Communication.
- At least four (4) years of experience leading a marketing function.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, acute market induction ability.
- Should have high work enthusiasm and intrinsic motivation to their work.
- Knowledge and experience developing and executing growth marketing and channel strategy.
- Should be familiar with product marketing channel development within technology, construction and retail sectors.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Should be a valid member of Zambia Institute of Marketing.
