EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY- DIRECTOR ENTERPRISE BUSINESS
Our client, a well-established telecommunication company, is currently seeking to fill the Director- Enterprise Business position. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in driving the company towards its strategic objectives. The position will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
JOB PURPOSE
To develop and deploy an innovative enterprise business strategy that includes delivery of B2B customer solutions, managed services for enterprises, storage solutions, new opportunities in the smart world, and custom services for large and small businesses to make the Company the dominant digital services provider.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements plans in support of approved Enterprise Solutions strategies, ensuring an effective method of monitoring related initiatives is deployed as well as providing regular management reports on the plans.
- Builds and maintains long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Aligns operational targets to business strategy with the Corporate Strategy
- Evaluates and monitors the Enterprises Sales Performance and implement remedial measures to correct the erring KPIs.
- Builds and maintains strategic alliances with key corporate bodies, SMEs, and the Government for business growth and performance.
- Taps industry trends and identifies emerging channels, develops strategies, and oversees implementation.
- Manages resources (people, finances, and products), considering local conditions.
- Considers the impact of solutions on other areas of the business, as well as the interdependency of units.
- Drives best practice, continuous improvement, and innovation at the process and procedure level.
- Manages the revenue budget and ensures that the agreed targets are met.
- Monitors costs and determines initiatives to optimize resources.
- Ensures cost-effectiveness by maximizing cost/benefit ratios.
- Ensures that the customer satisfaction index is met in line with corporate strategy.
- Initiates change to continually improve on all aspects of service delivery.
- Supervises team members in the directorate to ensure all its deliverables are being accomplished.
- Drives a culture that guides and directs best practice, fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and cohesiveness.
- Monitors and reviews the performance of team members to ensure that they meet their performance objectives.
- Coordinating and drafting of Board papers
- Identify and prepare relevant information and data for reporting purposes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 Certificate with credits in English and Mathematics and any other three subjects
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline
- MBA will be desirable
- Minimum 8 years of working experience preferably in the telecoms/FMCG industry
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing with a valid Practicing Certificate
