Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver with a Class C1 driver’s license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making deliveries, ensuring the truck’s general maintenance, and demonstrating excellent customer service. The role demands flexibility with working hours and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and at least three local languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain a truck for delivery purposes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to designated locations.
  • Perform general maintenance checks and ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any truck maintenance requirements.
  • Be flexible with working hours, as deliveries may occasionally require extended hours.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company regulations.
  • Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management.

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Valid Class C1 Driver’s License.
  • Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Fluency in English and at least three local languages.
  • Previous experience in driving and delivery services is an added advantage.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Good time management and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to conduct basic truck maintenance.
  • Flexibility with working hours.
