Job Description

Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region.  It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution, and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, leather, shoes, stock feed, and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

 DRIVER – MPONGWE FEEDMILL (x6)

The Required Skills for the Role Include:

  • Be present during the loading of his/her truck
  • Ensuring that the correct type and amount of feed is loaded in the truck
  • Supervising the tying of the tent and Tarpaulin lines by the loaders on the truck before departure
  • Ensuring the feed is secured on the truck before departure to prevent loss through spillages
  • Ensuring that the truck is clean at all times
  • Reporting all faults to Logistics Office for maintenance
  • Accountable for tents, belts and ratchets that have been issued to him/her
  • Will be responsible for maintaining the quality and feed safety management system

 The Required Qualifications are:

  • A full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s Licence Preferably Class CE
  • Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
  • Mechanical Knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience

The Attributes Required for this Role Include:

  • Communication Skills: must be able to communicate in efficient and clear manner
  • Problem Solving Skills: must be able to resolve traffic and vehicle issues
  • Must be able to drive efficiently
