Wild Dogs Nature Safaris, a Safari lodge and tour operator in Lusaka, is looking for a skilled and creative Chef to join our team. This role is perfect for a passionate culinary professional with experience managing a small kitchen and preparing high-quality meals for guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.
• Plan menus with creativity, incorporating fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
• Manage kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
• Accommodate special dietary requests and guest preferences.
• Collaborate with management to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen.
• Experience in the tourism industry is an added advantage.
• Must be flexible and willing to adapt to different schedules and guest needs.
• Must be available for a cook-off test as part of the interview process.
