Job Description

The Factory Manager will oversee all factory operations ensuring efficient tea processing, packaging, and storage. This role includes managing the Production Section for processing and packaging, the Maintenance Section for equipment upkeep, and the Warehouse Section for storing packaged tea. The Factory Manager shall ensure that production schedules meet demand, ensure compliance with quality standards, and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tea processing, packaging, and storage operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to align with demand forecasts.
  • Supervise the Production Section, ensuring smooth tea processing and packaging.
  • Manage the Maintenance Section, ensuring optimal equipment performance and timely repairs.
  • Supervise the Warehouse Section, ensuring proper storage, inventory management, and timely distribution of packaged tea.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control.
  • Optimize production processes to maximize output while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Manage financial activities, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Production Management, Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.
  • Professional membership to a relevant regulatory body.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in management or similar position.
