Salary: K5,000 per month

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Agronomist to oversee the daily operations of our vegetable farm located in Katuba Area, Leopards Hill Road. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise farm workers and ensure efficient use of labor
– Plan, coordinate, and implement crop planting, irrigation, and harvesting
– Monitor crop health, detect pests and diseases, and apply control measures
– Maintain farm records, including crop yields, sales, and expenses
– Ensure farm safety and security
– Collaborate with management to meet production targets and goals
– Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

– Diploma/Certificate in General Agriculture or related field
– At least 2 years of experience in farm management or supervision
– Strong knowledge of vegetable crop production and management
– Leadership and team management skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors
