Job Description

Our client, a leading hospitality and tourism enterprise in Ndola Rural, is seeking a Game Camp Manager to oversee its operations. This exciting facility offers a unique blend of accommodations, dining, conference facilities, and outdoor activities, making it a premier destination for leisure and corporate events.

Purpose of the Job

The Game Camp Manager will oversee all aspects of the camp’s operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving marketing initiatives to expand the camp’s reach locally and internationally.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including accommodations, restaurant, and conference facilities
  • Plan and manage game tours and other tourism activities to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract local and international visitors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tourism agencies, corporate clients, and stakeholders
  • Manage budgets to ensure resource efficiency and achievement of financial objectives
  • Lead and train staff to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement innovative solutions to enhance the camp’s offerings

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management or a related field
  • Strong marketing and business development acumen
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry, with a focus on game tours and eco-tourism

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years managing tourism or hospitality facilities, including marketing and business growth
  • Proven ability to attract and retain local and international clientele
  • Experience managing a team and delivering exceptional guest experiences
