Job Description

As a Human Resource Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring efficient workforce operations and compliance with company policies and labor laws. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection, interviews, hiring, orientation, and onboarding.
  • Developing and facilitating employee training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
  • Implementing, updating, and ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
  • Managing employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Administering compensation and benefits, including payroll processing and the submission of all statutory obligations.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, mitigating risks, and upholding best HR practices.
  • Supporting performance management by coordinating evaluations, providing feedback, and facilitating career progression opportunities.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Your ultimate objective is to enhance employee engagement, optimize talent potential, and contribute to the overall success of the company by fostering a motivated and high-performing workforce.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

  • Must have 2 or more years of human resource experience.
  • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
  • Must have a Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
