Reporting structure: To General Manager & Management
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Recruitment and selection (On-boarding, screening, and reference checks)
- Drafting of employee contracts for attestation in accordance with Ministry of Labour
- Implementation and updating of company policies (Ministry of Labour standards), procedures, practices, and work conditions
- Registration of NHIMA and NAPSA for employees
- Carrying out performance management on employees
- Managing employer-employee relationships to avoid industrial grievances
- Maintaining employee file records
- Conducting disciplinary actions
- Preparing reports on HR-related activities
- Developing a reward company culture (Motivation interventions for employees)
- Recording time and attendance records as well as scheduling processes (e.g., sick notes, leave days, maternity, absenteeism, etc.)
- Managing payroll administration of the organization
- Ensuring security, health, and safety regulations are carried out
- Ensuring compliance with relevant authorities (NAPSA, NHIMA, ZRA, Workers Compensation, Ministry of Labour) on HR-related matters
- Managing compensation and benefits
- Attending to employees’ queries and industrial labour matters
- Conducting training and development programs
- Strategic manpower planning
