1. SECURITY SYSTEMS CONTROL ROOM SUPERVISOR (1) – HEAD OFFICE
The Required Skills for the Role Include:
- Supervising the daily operations of the CCTV and alarm systems control room, ensuring that all systems are being actively monitored, issues are detected promptly, and appropriate actions are taken by the operators.
- Directly supervising and providing guidance to CCTV and alarm system operators, ensuring that they follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), responding to incidents efficiently, and maintaining vigilance during their shifts.
- Conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback for operator development, identifying training needs and improvement areas.
- Providing partial supervision and support to Junior Security Systems Technicians (e.g. Security Systems Officers), assisting with their tasks, mentoring them, and ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
- Ensuring all incidents or system alerts are responded to in a timely and efficient manner. In cases of critical failures or security breaches, escalate the situation to the Security Systems Manager and provide an initial assessment.
- Maintaining a detailed log of all incidents and actions taken for further analysis and reporting.
- Monitoring control room activity to ensure optimal performance, including reviewing operator performance, ensuring timely fault detection and incident response, and improving operational efficiency.
- Implementing periodic checks on system health and functionality, escalating unresolved issues to the Security Systems Manager for further investigation.
- Leading training sessions for control room operators to improve their skills and ensure they are up to date with security protocols and new technologies.
- Conducting regular drills and assessments to test response times and procedural adherence to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Maintaining accurate records of control room activities, system faults, maintenance logs, operator performance, and incident reports. Provide regular updates to the Security Systems Manager on the operational status and any emerging issues
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Security Management or IT
- At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in a related role, of which 2 should have been at a supervisory level and in security systems installation of CCTV and alarms.
- Strong computer and network running skills
- Experience in surveillance control room systems

2. SECURITY SYSTEMS OFFICER (2) – HEAD OFFICE
The Required Skills for the Role Include:
- Performing routine checks and basic testing of security systems, including CCTV, alarms, access control, and fleet tracking, to ensure proper functioning and report any irregularities to the Security Systems Technician.
- Helping with minor maintenance and repairs of security systems, such as replacing faulty components, fixing wiring issues, and assisting with software updates or hardware replacements.
- Assisting in the daily monitoring of CCTV and fleet tracking systems, ensuring cameras and tracking devices are functioning as intended and escalating any issues to the Security Systems Technician or Control Room Supervisor.
- Accurately documenting system faults, maintenance activities, and repairs in the logbook, ensuring all necessary information is recorded for future reference and action.
- Providing support during the installation of new security equipment and upgrades, ensuring the proper setup of devices like cameras, alarms, and access control terminals under the guidance of the Security Systems Technician.
- Participating in on-site assessments and audits of security systems, identifying any immediate issues and reporting potential risks or areas for improvement to the Security Systems Technician.
- Providing support in the CCTV and fleet tracking control room by assisting in monitoring feeds and ensuring all equipment is in working order, providing immediate feedback if any systems are down or malfunctioning.
- Acting as the first line of response for minor security system issues or failures and escalate urgent problems to the Security Systems Technician or control room supervisor.
- Helping to track and manage security system inventory, including tools, spare parts, and replacement components, ensuring that all items are properly stored and accounted for.
- Following established operational procedures and safety protocols while performing tasks, ensuring that all activities meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma or equivalent in IT or Computer Science
- At least 3years experience in security systems for CCTV and alarms
- Experience in intruder alarm, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems.
- Technical knowledge of a large digital CCTV system and a proven track record of working in a large and busy control room environment
- Computers Literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)

3. CONTROL ROOM SECURITY SYSTEMS OPERATOR – HEAD OFFICE (8) & HUNTLEY FARM (4)
The Required Skills for the role:
- Monitoring live video feeds from CCTV systems to detect unusual or suspicious activities.
- Conducting real-time analysis of captured footage to identify potential security threats.
- Ensuring proper functioning of CCTV cameras and related equipment by regularly checking their operation.
- Responding promptly to alarms or alerts generated by security systems.
- Documenting incidents accurately in logs or reports, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Notifying relevant authorities or security teams in case of emergencies or observed irregularities.
- Equipment Management
- Performing basic troubleshooting to address technical issues with the CCTV system.
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance with technical teams when equipment malfunctions.
- Ensuring storage compliance by maintaining footage archives as per company policies or legal requirements.
- Supporting security personnel by providing real-time updates during live incidents.
- Maintaining communication with other departments to ensure an integrated security response.
- Assisting in system upgrades by providing input on optimal camera placements and configurations.
- Adhering to data protection laws and organizational policies regarding the handling and use of video footage.
- Safeguarding the confidentiality of surveillance data and prevent unauthorized access.

4. SECURITY OFFICER (10) – HUNTLEY FARM
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Monitoring and authorising entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Checking parcels, pockets and suspicious items.
- Patrolling industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
- Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrence
- Counting and verifying goods being dispatched and carrying out physical inspection during the loading of the goods
- Ensuring that the goods received have been recorded at the gate and that the vehicle offloading has a permit from security at the gate.
- Ensuring that the goods being delivered have a valid purchase order that has been approved by senior management.
- Verifying that the goods being delivered are the same as those on the purchase order
- Verifying that the delivered goods are accompanied by the required documentation i.e., delivery note, and tax invoice
- Checking loading of trucks with finished goods as indicated on the invoice, supported by Release Order, Loading Order and Proof of First Weight.
- Counting and completing the Security Counting Sheets accurately as the truck is being loaded
- Ensuring that the correct raw materials or products are being loaded by comparing the tags, were applicable, against the invoice.
- Ensuring that company property is secure from misappropriation.

5. AUTO ELECTRICIAN – ZAMHATCH (X1)
The Skills Required for this role Include:
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems contained in heavy duty vehicles.
- Performing electrical diagnostics fault finding on vehicle systems
- Repairing electrical and electronic faults and to repair electrical components.
- Checking and testing components and faults after repairs.
- Ensuring that all work carried out is in line with the health and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean work environment.
- Completing job reports and processing paperwork.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent with at least 5 credits.
- Must have a minimum qualification of Craft Certificate in Automotive Electrical.
- Qualified in Vehicle Diagnostics.
- Must be Computer Literate.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as Mechanic/Auto Electrician
- Must be a Member of EIZ
The Required Attributes Include:
- Computer skills for operating DAF truck diagnostic programs.
- 12 voltage and 24 voltage direct current knowledge.
- A problem-solving ability.
- Experience with DAF trucks.
- Knowledge in Automotive Refrigeration will be added advantage
6. MECHANIC (AGRIC WORKSHOP) – HUNTLEY FARM (X 2)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Checking, repairing, maintaining and overhauling farm machinery and vehicles.
- Repairing defective engines or engine components and service vehicles to maintain functionality.
- Reassembling machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and adjusting as necessary.
- Listening to clients to learn more about vehicle history, potential problems and services they would likely receive.
- Dismantling defective machines for repair using hand tools.
- Physically checking earth moving machines, farm equipment and other machinery.
- Cleaning equipment, parts and tools to repair or maintain them in good working condition.
- Keeping detailed records of all work performance

- Crafts Certificate in Mechanics
- At least 3 years work Experience.

7. AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC (AGRIC WORKSHOP) – HUNTLEY FARM (X 1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Inspecting vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
- Conducting routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Scheduling future maintenance sessions and advise customers on good vehicle use
- Repairing or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Providing accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
- Maintaining equipment and tools in good condition. Check, repair, maintain and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles.
- Checking, repairing, maintaining and overhauling farm machinery and vehicles.
- Reassembling machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and adjusting as necessary.
- Listening to clients to learn more on vehicle history, potential problems and services they would likely receive.
- Dismantling defective machines for repair using hand tools.
- Physically checking/inspecting earth moving machines, farm equipment and other machinery.
- Keeping detailed records of all work performance
