Job Description

Rockview University is a Private University, based on the Higher Education sub-framework of the Zambia Qualifications Framework (ZQF). It is classified as a ZQF 10 institution, offering programs in education, agricultural sciences, business studies, and health sciences at our Chipata campus.
We are seeking proactive, highly motivated, and results-oriented Zambians to fill the following internship positions at our Chipata Campus:

1. Accounts Assistant – Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Help in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Maintain the accounts filing system.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and audits.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
  • Graduation Year: Must have graduated from 2023 to date.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

2. ICT Lecturer – Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in the ICT field.
  • Develop and deliver innovative lesson plans and practical projects.
  • Assist in supervising student projects and assignments.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in ICT education.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the ICT curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required).
  • Graduation Year: Must have graduated from 2023 to date.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ICT concepts and programming languages.
  • Ability to teach both theoretical and practical ICT content.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge in the field of ICT.
