Job Title: Public Relations Officer

Reporting line: Public Relations Manager
Are you a creative communicator with a passion for storytelling, media engagement and creating impactful content? We’re looking for a dynamic Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team play a key role in enhancing our organization’s image through strategic communication, photography, videography and media relations.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling written content, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos to showcase organizational events, campaigns, and milestones.
- Edit and produce multimedia content for various platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging visual identity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists to promote organizational initiatives.
- Assist the Public Relations Manager in developing and executing communication strategies.
- Support media engagements, press briefings, and other public-facing activities.
- Contribute to event planning and provide on-site support for media management and coverage.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication and PR activities.

Qualifications / Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Full Grade Twelve (12) certificate.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in public relations, content creation, photography, or videography.
- Proficiency in photography and videography equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva).
