Job Description

Our client is looking for a Recruiter who will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assisting in the selection and onboarding of candidates, while ensuring the entire process is aligned with the company’s goals and values. The role is crucial in the hiring process because it connects employers with qualified candidates.

Role

  • Collaborating with hiring managers.
  • Creating job descriptions.
  • Understanding the company culture quickly to identify candidates who will fit well within the organization.
  • Identifying potential candidates.
  • Building a network of a pool of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Attending job fairs and industry events to meet prospective candidates.
  • Reviewing resumes and applications.
  • Conducting initial phone or video interviews and shortlisting candidates.
  • Coordinating activities such as conducting interviews (prepping candidates), providing feedback to hiring managers, and assisting in selecting the right candidate.
  • Maintaining communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and providing feedback.
  • Liaising with selected candidates over compensation packages, benefits, and job terms.
  • Coordinating the onboarding process.
  • Keeping accurate records of candidates’ documentation.
  • Tracking key recruitment metrics.
  • Placing and updating all job postings in various media including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners.
  • Ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
  • Researching and recommending new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Working closely with HR and other departments to align hiring strategies with company goals and workforce needs.
  • Managing hiring pipelines to meet long-term staffing goals and ensure the company is prepared for future hiring needs.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Human Resources or;
  • A bachelor’s in Human Resources or any Business degree is preferable.
  • A minimum of 2 years recruitment and interviewing experience.
  • Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 passes.
  • Member of ZIHRM.
  • Results must be certified by ZAQA.
