Job Description
Brief: The main aim of this Social Marketer service is to mobilize resources/ funds locally to create a sustainable and reliance base for the ZOA-Z. Under the overall supervision of Zambia Orphans Aid Zambia Fundraising Committee, the Social Marketer will work closely with the ZOA-Z Fundraising Committee of the Board and Secretariat Team.
Responsibilities: The Social Marketer will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance in the following areas:
a) Liaising with ZOA-Z Social media identified agents –ZOA-Z intends to use Social Medial as one of its tools in financial resource mobilization.
b) Partner and donor identification – During the first one month of the work, the Social Marketer will conduct a mapping exercise of the partner and donor landscape in Zambia. The aim is to identify potential institutional donors that can support and work with ZOA-Z.
c) Come up with a Plan of action: – Based on the partner/donor mapping results, the Social Marketer will propose a plan of action with a short list of partners and donors to target after one (1) month period.
d) Coordination -The Social Marketer will be responsible for coordinating with ZOA-Z staff to make introductions to potential partners/donors alliances.
e) Manage the ZOA-Z Social pages Facebook page- TIKTOK, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and other
f) Creation of engaging content –for public consumption
g) Execute Social media advertising campaigns- to increase the reach and engagements with the community
