Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the radio station, ensuring smooth broadcasting and high-quality content.
– Develop and implement strategic plans to grow listenership and increase revenue.
– Manage programming schedules, advertising, and promotions to enhance audience engagement.
– Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, partners, and community stakeholders.
– Ensure compliance with broadcasting regulations and company policies.
– Represent Zambezi FM Radio at public events and maintain a positive public image.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelors Degree in Media, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. (Diploma holders are also encouraged to apply)
– Minimum of 3 years experience in radio broadcasting or media management.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
– Knowledge of broadcasting regulations and industry trends.
