1. HEAD TEACHER
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES ( MAIN DUTIES)
I. Manages and coordinates effectively the provision of all the academic programs in order to ensure quality education is delivered at the school.
ii.Monitors and evaluates regularly the delivery of academic programs in order to determine their Impact and recommend appropriate intervention.
iii.Interprets correctly educational policies to ensure the delivery of quality education.
iv.Manages teachers at the school in order to facilitate the attainment of set objectives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
a)Minimum Primary/Secondary Education:
Grade 12/ University entrant
b)Minimum Vocational/Professional Qualification
First degree in Education
c)Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
2years teaching experience as deputy head teacher
d)Communication Skills:
i) Written Skills
Good writing skills ii) Oral Skills
Excellent Communication Skills.
e)Numerical/Computation Skills:
Basic
f)Other Skills/Attributes:

2. PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER
MAIN DUTIES
i.Lesson planning: Plans, develops and organizes teaching materials ahead of each lesson and teaching lessons based on the curriculum. Educate and motivate learners using creative resources to contribute to their responsibilities.
ii.Creating a safe, learning environment: Organizing the classroom, display and resources.
iii.Developing Skills: Contributing to the development of academic and social skills of learners.
iv.Monitoring progress: Keeping track of each child’s progress and evaluates pupils homework.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Must have an accredited Teacher Training College qualification.
- Teacher Registration and valid practising Licence.
- Grade 12 certificate, minimum of 5 credits subjects including English and Mathematics and any Science subject. Minimum 2 years experience of teaching
- Excellent English-speaking skills
- Must be computer literate- word, excel and power point proficient.
- Should have a Christian background
- Ability to use a variety of methods and teaching strategies
- Desire to continue to grow and develop professionally
- Great communication and interpersonal skill
- Good organization and time-management skills
- Enthusiasm and flexibility
- Teamwork abilities, leadership and initiative
3. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TEACHER
MAIN DUTIES
i. Planning and facilitating activities: Plans and organizes activities that promote the child’s physical, mental and emotional development. Preparing lessons, teaching lessons and evaluating home work. ii. Creating a safe, learning environment: Organizing the classroom, display and resources. iii. Developing Skills: Contributing to academic and social skills iv. Monitoring progress: Keeping track of each child’s progress.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Must have an accredited Teacher Training College qualification, certified by the Teaching Council of Zambia.
- Teacher Registration and valid practising Licence.
