Trainer in General Agriculture – Chikowa Youth Development Centre

Job Description

We are looking for a trainer willing to share his or her knowledge in Agriculture to students coming from various places in Zambia, and help them become proactive in the future Zambian economy in a sustainable way. The trainer should be creative and able to adapt easily. Experience in cooperatives will be appreciated.

The trainer, among other things, will be teaching the following subjects:
1. Crop production
2. Animal protection
3. Fish farming
4. Soil science

Chikowa Youth Development Centre is a catholic institution under Comboni Missionaries. This technical College aims at providing affordable craft and Trade programs under Teveta in the following field of studies : General Agriculture, Automotive engineering, Bricklaying and Masonry, Food Production and Tailoring. The growing institution, not yet government granted, is also supported by a carpentry and a garden. As a catholic institution, the Centre is also committed to impart fraternity, justice and integrity to the students.
