Share Vision Network is dedicated to empowering vulnerable Communities by Championing Human Rights and Development. Share Vision Network is at its inception looking for volunteers with possible full-time jobs depending on availability of funds.

Traditional Affairs Coordinator x 1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling, creating agendas, taking notes, minutes, and sharing materials with participants.
  • Facilitate training in culture
  • Facilitate and promote research in culture mainstream culture in tourism and address the needs of the Share Vision network team.
  • Managing correspondence with government entities, and coordinating and organizing within the Capital
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and other calls or meetings
  • Scheduling, creating agendas, taking notes, minutes, and sharing materials with participants.
  • Assist with the completion of bill analyses
  • Assist in management of the Legislative Workgroup
  • Support the monitoring of issues and potential regulations that will impact Planned Parenthood Affiliates in Zambia.
  • Produce draft written content for internal communications and updates for external correspondence
  • Update, manage, and create content for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Share Vision Network (SVN) Website page
  • Conduct issue background research
  • Cover legislative issues as needed, including attending hearings and webinars.
  • Manage and build master lists and event calendars
  • Reporting to National Program Coordinator
  • Plan and coordinate affiliate and stakeholder events, including logistics and meeting planning.
  • Other duties as assigned

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Full Grade 12 Certificate

Diploma/bachelor’s degree in political science, History or related field preferred. 1-2 years’ full time work experience required. Some non-profit Association, health care organization, campaign, or elected official office experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel required, proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook preferred

Excellent project management skills required with great attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
Experience with multi-tasking and prioritizing work assignments under deadlines
Self-motivated and team oriented, with a positive, energetic and adaptable personality, with a go-getter attitude and an interest in Traditional affairs.
The position is for an initial fixed-term of Three (3) years, renewable based on
Performance and availability of funds. The position is (Volunteer) with possibilities of full time employment. Qualified women are particularly encouraged to apply.

Partnership & Networking officer x 1

Key Responsibilities:

Donor and Partner Relationships

  • Proactively develop and nurture relationships with donors, partners, and Share Vision Network Support Offices to identify new funding opportunities to meet funding gaps and/or growth in program/projects, which respond to needs in target communities.
  • Support the development of donor and partner engagement materials.

Support and/or Lead Opportunity Review and Proposal Development

  • Identify and lead proposal development teams to pursue opportunities for funding, which are aligned with Share Vision Network strategic priorities, in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide support to other grants acquisition team members leading other proposals.
  • Review funding opportunities in accordance with Share Vision Network policies to determine whether to pursue targeted opportunities or not.
  • Conduct partner due diligence and partner capacity assessments in accordance with Share Vision Network policies.

Proposal to Project handover

  • Lead and/or support project start up processes to ensure quality handover of projects to the grants management/ implementation teams as guided by the Share Vision Network policies.

Strategy, Planning, and Reporting

  • Support the development and monitor the implementation of the resource acquisition strategy and business plan, including reporting metrics.
  • Provide information that feed into the weekly grants acquisition report.

Qualifications:

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Masters, Bachelor, or Diploma in a relevant discipline (Social sciences, international development, Economics, or any other related field)
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in an International NGO
  • Minimum of 1 year in Resource Mobilisation funding from bi-lateral, multi-lateral and large private funders.
  • Relevant experience in managing relationships with donors and partners and understanding of key donor requirement – USAID, EU,  SIDA; UNDP; UNHCR; World Bank.
  • Work experience with other local and international organizations, large NGOs and/or governmental development agencies
  • Proven skills and experience in programme development.

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Maintains physical and digital filing systems. Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors.

Project Officer – Disaster Management x 1

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Implementation Support

  • Review funding opportunities in accordance with Share Vision Network policies to determine whether to pursue targeted opportunities or not.
  • Support the Unit in day-to-day implementation of the projects under the Resilience portfolio of SVN
  • Independently manage the implementation of the Community Resilience initiatives funded by the Public Sector Undertakings
  • Support the unit in preparation of the tender documents for identification of experts/material procurement
  • Prepare draft Terms of References for individual experts hired on short term duration
  • Support the unit in the technical evaluation of proposals
  • Support in the shortlisting of CVs and facilitating interview process for the consultants
  • Track the deliverables and associated deadlines for all the subcontracts under the Resilience portfolio
  • Coordinate the activities carried out by the subcontractors of the projects
  • Review and provide feedback on the technical reports generated by the project.
  • Liaison with the City/State Project Coordinators to collect specific information
  • Collect and compile all the mandatory quarterly reports from the city/state coordinators
  • Support the unit in preparation of the Annual Work Plans and associated budgets
  • Undertake technical studies as per the decision of the supervisor
  • Provide technical advice to the unit as and when requested by the supervisor
  • Support the unit in development and preparation of Concept notes and draft proposals for funding
  • Support the unit in the preparation of Project Documents
  • In coordination with the Finance Associate, have an overview of the budgetary allocations for sub activities under the projects and keep the supervisor informed of any major deviation
  • Support the unit in Knowledge Management aspects pertaining to DRR
  • Undertake field visits as per the decision of the supervisor to monitor and evaluate progress on the ground.

Others Miscellaneous activities:

  • Prepare briefing notes and speaking points as per requirement
  • Keep oneself regularly updated of the latest developments in the field of disaster management and resilience building
  • Anticipate and identify possible challenges in advance and escalate the matter to the supervisor
  • Represent the organization in events as per the advice of the Supervisor
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisors

Job Knowledge and Technical Expertise

Project Officer – Health x 1

Key Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

Key duties:

  • Support the Project Lead with the daily project management, incl. design of activities at country level, maintaining of efficient coordination and effective communication with participating countries, within the organization and with external stakeholders throughout the full cycle of the project.
  • Conduct research work for analysis of migration related health policies in the WHO European Region; compile inputs on policy, humanitarian, gender and economic aspects of governance for health and migration in order to inform project delivery.
  • Produce draft technical documents, information products, training packages and reports and provide technical assistance in the organization of various activities, such as workshops, meetings and technical assistance missions, in support of project implementation.
  • Provide country tailored technical assistance within the operational range of the project including the formulation, implementation and monitoring of Share Vision Network programme activities carried out in other Provinces.
  • Monitoring of project implementation work plans and schedules; monitoring and quality assurance of work packages and ensuring achievement of the targets within the pre-set constrains (scope, time, budget).
  • Draft progress reports and other technical communications (e.g., donor reports, progress reports, briefing notes) based on the technical inputs and field implementation updates.
  • Provide support in developing, updating, and adapting relevant strategic or operational project documentation (including but not limited to plans, tools and templates, briefings, reports, advocacy and training materials, etc.) as per the needs and in coordination with the Project Lead.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating improved information and knowledge management within the team for the purpose of monitoring and evaluation, organizational learning and reporting, with a particular responsibility for maintaining and improving the activities databases/lessons learnt log.
  • Perform other related duties including replacing and backstopping as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATINS

Full Grade 12 Certificate

Essential: University degree (Diploma level) in Public Health, or related area.
Desirable: University degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in any of the above disciplines or a combination of training and professional experience relevant to the position. Project Management certification.

  • Data Collection: Conduct surveys, focus group discussions, interviews, and community observations to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Community Engagement: Build rapport and trust with community members to encourage participation in data collection activities.
  • Fieldwork: Travel to various project locations within the community to collect data as per set schedules.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter collected data into designated systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
  • Report Writing: Compile field notes and draft summary reports on findings from data collection activities
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the data management and program teams to ensure that data collected aligns with the organization’s goals and reporting needs.
  • Follow Ethical Guidelines: Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards in all data collection activities, ensuring respect for participants’ privacy and rights.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Minimum of a Certificate, diploma – Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Statistics, Social Work, Project management or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in data collection, research, or community development is an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with community members.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work in diverse cultural settings with respect and understanding.
  • Technological Skills: Proficiency in using data collection tools (e.g., mobile apps, tablets) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and accuracy skills to ensure data integrity.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to address challenges in the field and adapt to varying conditions.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in local languages is a plus.
