About the Role
As the Business Operations Data and Systems Coordinator, you will work with our client data management team to ensure data is correct and is available. Research and implement system changes to support evolving program needs

You will report directly to the Business Operations lead

Responsibilities

Technical leadership

  • Design and improve customer, order, repayment and distribution tools to meet changing operational needs. This includes ad-hoc tool/process design requests for surveys.
  • Document and Implement data collection and access procedures.
  • Standardize and document data change processes and ensure adherence.
  • Maintain the Zambia program’s data dictionary.

Data Quality Checks and Reconciliations

  • Conduct enrollment and repayment data quality checks weekly to ensure data reliability
  • Work with in-country and global CDM teams to resolve data processing issues.
  • Manage 3rd party relationships with MNOs to ensure repayment issues are resolved.

Staff and department leadership

  • Lead creation of department OKRs
  • Manage Client Data Management, Client Engagement and Audit teams and provide direction as they execute their roles.
  • Create training materials and conduct training for Business Operations and wider staff teams to use different data collection and processing tools such as Kissflow, Kobo and Dataiku.
  • Build technical capacity in your team through knowledge transfers.
  • Create department performance trackers and use them to track your team’s performance

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information System or other related fields.
  • Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) , SQL or any other data analysis languages like SPSS, R, python etc.
  • Analysis, model, interpret and visualize data.
  • Project management skills and previous team management experience added advantage.
  • 2 – 5 years of work experience in data and people management.
