Job Description:

As a Hydraulic Workshop Supervisor at Platinum Hydraulics Zambia LTD, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our hydraulic workshop operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of hydraulic repairs, maintenance, and manufacturing activities. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability that our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the hydraulic workshop team, providing guidance and support.
• Plan and allocate tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and work is performed to high standards.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to guarantee the integrity of hydraulic components and systems.
• Manage inventory and order necessary parts and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to workshop activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related fields
• Proven experience in hydraulic system repair, maintenance, and manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in reading hydraulic schematics and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are a plus.
